Cacapon State Park in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia is currently taking reservations for the new north lodge for stays beginning May 1, 2021.
The rooms popped up this week on the park’s website.
For the time being, only a limited number of rooms in the lodge will be available.
On Saturday May 1, the only room available for reservations on the website is a King Suite overlooking the golf course for $279 a night.
A King bedroom during the middle of the week is going with a golf course view is going for $169 a night.
The King bedroom is described this way:
“Located in the new North Lodge, this gorgeous room features a King Bed with golf course and sunrise views. Enjoy the Appalachian inspired architecture and design alongside amenities including a flat screen television, mini-fridge, microwave, single-serve coffee maker, wi-fi and other standard features to ensure you will love your stay with us.”
“Your reservation comes complete with access to a fitness center, indoor heated pool and whirlpool, over 6,000 acres of state park, conference center, the Ziler Library, business center and the option to enjoy the indoor and outdoor dining including the Prospects Restaurant, Legacy Lounge, Healing Waters Spa, Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, playgrounds, Wobble Shooting Range, seasonal beach swimming, boating, fishing, nature center adventures, horseback riding, disc golf, hiking and mountain bike trails and so much more.”
The $25 million three-year upgrade to the park included the addition of 78 guest rooms, a dining room, a lounge, a spa and an indoor pool at Cacapon Lodge.
Existing facilities were also upgraded, including the remodeling of each existing guest room, creating new conference space, renovating the lobby and upgrading utility and electrical equipment.
