Rutter’s opens its newest store today, across from the Department of Motor Vehicles office – three and a half miles south of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
“We’re thrilled to bring another Rutter’s location to West Virginia,” said Scott Hartman, President & CEO of the York, Pennsylvania-based Rutter’s. “This store is another step forward in our mission to grow thoughtfully while continuing to deliver the high-quality service, food, and convenience our customers expect.”
The store will feature customizable meals through in-store kiosks, online ordering, and delivery.
The new Rutter’s store will include a sports bar — the 1747 Bar & Lounge — featuring more than twenty high-definition 65-inch TVs.
Guests can enjoy an extensive selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. The bar and lounge was named after the year the Rutter family farm was founded in York, Pennsylvania.
The Rutter’s store will also include a Beer Cave featuring a wide selection of beer and wine, fourteen gasoline fueling stations, four high-speed diesel bays equipped with Premium Diesel and In-Lane DEF to support commercial and heavy-duty drivers.
The store is expected to employ over 50 people, with wages beginning at $18 per hour.
Rutter’s other two West Virginia locations are in Inwood and Martinsburg. Earlier this year, Rutter’s opened new stores in Milton and Johnstown, Pennsylvania, as well as Winchester, Virginia.
Also near the DMV, across from the Rutter’s, is a new development that will include a Dunkin’ Donuts.
