At Morgan County courthouse waiting for results.

In Kentucky 6, a closely watched race nationally, with 49 percent of the precincts counted, Republican incumbent Barr (47.4 percent) trails Democrat McGrath (51.4 percent).

7:00 pm

We’ll be watching closely the race in West Virginia 3 where teacher favorite Democrat Richard Ojeda is facing off against Republican Carol Miller. It’s a coal field district that went 70 to 30 for President Trump in 2016.  Ojeda has ripped into the pharmaceutical industry throughout the campaign.

In neighboring Kentucky, a key early race is Kentucky 6. With six percent of the precincts reporting, the incumbent Republican Andy Barr (48.4 percent) trails the Democratic challenger Amy McGrath (50.5 percent). Barr won the seat by 22 percent in 2016.

Morgan County Courthouse in Berkeley Springs opens its doors at 7:30 pm, when the polls close. Should be a packed crowd. Come on down if you can.

But if you can’t, we’ll be posting results as they come in from the 24 Morgan County precincts. Just refresh the page and you will see the updates. First results due around 8 pm.

Stay tuned.
