Wanna dance on Valentine’s Day?
The Hancock Arts Council is sponsoring a Valentine’s Day Dance with The Flashbacks on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at the Hancock Performing Arts Center, 126 W. High Street, Hancock, Maryland.
The dance starts at 8 pm and it’s free.
The Flashbacks perform an eclectic mix of oldies, classics, and rock from the 50’s through the 80’s.
Their playlist covers a wide variety of styles from masters like Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Smokey Robinson, The Everly Brothers, Elvis, and Little Richard.
They add on fun favorites by The Temptations, The Beach Boys, The Ventures, Linda Ronstadt, Van Morrison, and Creedence. Throwing in some Blondie, Stray Cats, and Cyndi Lauper to liven things up, the result is a mix that has something for everyone.
With their unique mix of styles, old and new, The Flashbacks please crowds of all ages with their toe-tapping, dance friendly tunes.
The Flashbacks are based in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
Members of the band are Gordon Macleod (vocals and guitar), Angela Petry (vocals and keyboard), Bob Wurster (vocals and guitar), Dan Zarcone (bass), and Mike Marzullo (drums). All have many years of experience in live performance.
