Berkeley Springs dynamic basketball duo of Ty’Mir Ross and Gavin Barkley combined for 41 points to give the Indians a 60 to 55 home victory over Keyser Friday night.
Berkeley Springs will host the North Marion Huskies on Tuesday March 8 at 7 pm with a trip to the state tournament on the line.
The Huskies lost to Wheeling Central Catholic Friday night 75 to 48. Keyser will travel to Wheeling Central for the other regional co-final game.
The Indians got into trouble early, falling behind 7 to 3 with Ross getting two quick fouls in the first two minutes. But Berkeley Springs led 11 to 9 at the end of the first quarter and 26 to 23 at halftime.
Keyser was kept in the game by Noah Broadwater, who led the Golden Tornado with 18 points and a hot shooting Jacob Weinrich, who hit five threes for 15 points.
Barkley hit a three at the buzzer to end the third quarter to put the Indians up 42 to 33.
