Six wooden campaign boards and a number of smaller yard signs for Morgan County Commissioner Brenda Hutchinson were stolen or vandalized over the weekend.
The Hutchinson campaign is offering a $1,000 reward “for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the destruction of campaign signs belonging to Brenda Hutchinson.”
The signs were taken on Friday, September 21, 2012 between 8 pm and 10 pm in the Great Cacapon area.
Anyone with information about the crime is urged to call the campaign at 304.947.7713.
The Hutchinson campaign contacted West Virginia State Police and filed a report.
Friends of Brenda Hutchison are holding a meet and greet Tuesday, September 25 from 5-7 at the Earthdog Cafe in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
Light refreshments will be served.
Hutchinson will be staying afterward to have dinner with her supporters.
