Clark will serve the remaining of Reed\u2019s term, though the end of 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commissioner Joel Tuttle said that Clark plans to run for re-election in November 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tuttle said that while there were four applicants, Clark\u2019s application package was \u201csimply outstanding.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere were about twenty letters of recommendation, including three former County Commissioners,\u201d Tuttle said. \u201cI had people from all different backgrounds supporting Bill Clark, including Democrats and Republicans, including a sitting U.S. Senator. Two said that even though disagreed with him on politics, they highly recommended Bill Clark.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOne Democrat said \u2013 \u2018he would only be better if I could convince him to be a Democrat.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
