{"id":3692,"date":"2018-09-05T07:47:03","date_gmt":"2018-09-05T11:47:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/morgancountyusa.org\/?p=3692"},"modified":"2018-09-05T07:52:21","modified_gmt":"2018-09-05T11:52:21","slug":"fix-it-the-movie-coming-to-shepherdstown-september-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/morgancountyusa.org\/?p=3692","title":{"rendered":"Fix It the Movie Coming to Shepherdstown September 13"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Richard Master, the CEO of a manufacturing corporation in Pennsylvania, has produced a film about healthcare.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ObndvfGHnz0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s called <em>Fix It \u2013 Healthcare at the Tipping Point.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And he\u2019s bringing the movie to the eastern panhandle on September 13.<\/p>\n<p>Master says our current healthcare system is not sustainable with its annually sky-rocketing healthcare increases which threaten the well-being of businesses and their employees.<\/p>\n<p>The current healthcare system makes American businesses less competitive internationally.<\/p>\n<p>Master says we need to scrap the current complex, wasteful healthcare system and replace it with single-payer, national improved Medicare for all.<\/p>\n<p>You can see the film, <em>Fix It: Healthcare at the Tipping Point<\/em> and pose questions to Master on Thursday, September 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Byrd Center Auditorium (213 N.
