{"id":3130,"date":"2018-01-15T09:54:17","date_gmt":"2018-01-15T14:54:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/morgancountyusa.org\/?p=3130"},"modified":"2018-01-15T10:29:02","modified_gmt":"2018-01-15T15:29:02","slug":"berkeley-springs-woman-arrested-for-concealing-human-body","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/morgancountyusa.org\/?p=3130","title":{"rendered":"Berkeley Springs Woman Arrested for Concealing Human Body"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 34-year-old Berkeley Springs woman has been arrested for attempting to conceal a deceased human body.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3134\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3134\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3134\" src=\"https:\/\/morgancountyusa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/greene-300x225.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/morgancountyusa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/greene-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/morgancountyusa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/greene.png 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-3134\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Crystal Greene<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sergeant Wade Shamabugh was alerted to the incident by Special Deputy Tony Link. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A deceased body was in the apartment of Crystal Charmagen Crawford Greene, 30 Westridge Drive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Located in the home was Joshua Edward Mitchell, 33, who had apparently been deceased for several hours after a suspected overdose.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Officials said that after Greene had found Mitchell she attempted to solicit several persons to assist her in disposing of the body and getting it out of her apartment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Greene admitted to officers that Mitchell had came to her apartment early in the morning and she found him deceased at approximately 9:30 am. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She then left the apartment and returned about 1 pm. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Greene admitted she tried to get several people to help her remove the body and she at no time contacted law enforcement or emergency service personnel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sergeant.
