Howard Swint today challenged Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito (R-West Virginia) to release her tax returns for the period of 2008-2011 \u201cto explain what may be illegal income.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cCongresswoman. Capito will not meet this challenge as it will result in an Office of Congressional Ethics investigation \u2013 it\u2019s that simple,\u201d Swint said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of the most glaring issues centers on the irregularities associated with the reporting of mortgage liabilities on the House forms and what is on record at the Rockbridge County Courthouse in Lexington, Virginia,\u201d Swint said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThose records for a rental property contradict each other and suggest that preferential loan terms may have been provided by Citigroup.\u201d<\/p>\n
Citigroup is a major contributor to Capito\u2019s political campaigns.<\/p>\n
