{"id":2250,"date":"2016-04-26T20:47:58","date_gmt":"2016-04-27T00:47:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/morgancountyusa.org\/?p=2250"},"modified":"2016-04-27T14:34:18","modified_gmt":"2016-04-27T18:34:18","slug":"planning-commission-approves-berkeley-springs-tractor-supply-store","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/morgancountyusa.org\/?p=2250","title":{"rendered":"Planning Commission Approves Berkeley Springs Tractor Supply Store"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Morgan County Planning Commission tonight gave the green light to a developer\u2019s plans to build a Tractor Supply store four miles south of Berkeley Springs on US 522.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/soDOSF1iXJY\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The vote was unanimous in favor. (Wayne Omps abstained.)<\/p>\n<p>The application was submitted by Legend Realty Services &#8212; which will own the building and lease it to Tractor Supply.<\/p>\n<p>Legend Realty president David Howicz attended the meeting. <\/p>\n<p>In an interview after the meeting, Howicz said that he anticipated that financing for the project would be secured within a couple of weeks and that construction will begin soon thereafter.<\/p>\n<p>General contractors have bid on the project and Howicz said he anticipated that many local contractors will be hired to help build the building.<\/p>\n<p>Howicz said that he hoped the building will be up by the end of the summer and suggested that the Tractor Supply will be open by the spring of 2017.<\/p>\n<p>There are more than 1,400 Tractor Supply stores in the United States and more than 120 are being opened every year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Morgan County Planning Commission tonight gave the green light to a developer\u2019s plans to build a Tractor Supply store four miles south of Berkeley Springs on US 522.
