West Virginia House of Delegates Member Ruth Rowan (R-Hampshire County) has a challenger.<\/p>\n

Beverly Cookman Keadle (D) has filed to run for the West Virginia House of Delegates in the \u00a057th district, which includes parts of Hampshire and Mineral Counties.<\/p>\n

Cookman Keadle, a native of Romney, West Virginia is a graduate of Romney High School and West Virginia University.<\/p>\n

She currently serves as Romney\u2019s City Recorder. She is Treasurer of Cookman \u00a0Insurance Group.<\/p>\n

She previously worked in the natural gas industry in central West Virginia.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs West Virginians, I believe that we all want the same thing; good jobs, an excellent education \u00a0 for our children, and to leave West Virginia a better place for the next generation. \u00a0I have decided \u00a0 to run for the House of Delegates because I fear that our great state is headed in the wrong \u00a0 direction. I will stand up for working West Virginians and their families.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cookman Keadle is married to Tom Keadle, a Senior Status Judge, former West Virginia State Trooper, and US Marine.<\/p>\n
