<\/a><\/p>\nThat means that about 152 voters will have to vote on each of the last three early voting days — Thursday, Friday and Saturday — for the early voting total to surpass the 1,373 who voted early in 2010.<\/p>\n
The 1,373 citizens who voted early in 2010 represented 25 percent of the 5,587 who voted in the general election of 2010.<\/p>\n
There are 12,352 registered voters in Morgan County — 41 percent are Republicans (5,124), 28 percent are Democrats (3,431) and 31 percent are other (3,797).<\/p>\n
Among those 919 who have voted early already in Morgan County, 49 percent are Republican (452), 31 percent are Democrat (286) and 20 percent are other (181).<\/p>\n
Many citizens are opposed to early voting.<\/p>\n
