The old Black Dog Coffee shop on Route 9 in Berkeley Springs has been sold to Regina Aamacha, the owner of the Fleur De Lis Cheese Shop.

Aamacha will reopen the store on January 1, 2019 as the Ravenwood Pub, which will serve Black Dog Coffee along with breakfast and lunch six days a week Monday through Saturday.

The breakfast menu includes old fashioned oatmeal, ham cheese and egg sandwich, smoked sausage on french bread with pecan honey mustard, biscuits and gravy and, of course, your venison sausage sandwich.

Lunch will feature sandwiches – including ham and Swiss, turkey and London broil stack.

And if you are looking for something hot and special, check out the venison stew, mac and cheese, wild boar chili, shepherds pie or the vegetarian special.

There are a whole bunch of regulars who miss the old Black Dog Coffee shop and have been waiting anxiously for a reopening.

Fear not, the end is near.

It’s coming back – on New Year’s Day – as Ravenwood Pub – same coffee – with great food.
