Free Bob Dylan Tribute Concert in Hancock Saturday

A free concert by local musicians playing and singing the songs of Bob Dylan will be held 7:30 PM Saturday October 7 at The Hancock Performing Arts Center at Town Hall, 126 W High St. Hancock, Maryland.

Area musicians will cover some of Dylan’s more than 400 songs. His career has spanned more than 50 years from the 60’s folk scene in Greenwich Village, to the electric outrage, to Nashville, to Christian, to film music to the present day and his 2017 Nobel Prize in Literature, the first ever for a songwriter.

This concert will feature tunes like Blowin’ in the Wind, Wagon Wheel and many in between.

Angela Petry, Gordon McCloud, and Bob Wurster of the Flashbacks, Vince Romano, Thor Smith, Matthew Pennington, Mike Kligerman, Sinclair Hamilton, The Arts Council Band, and The Tri-State Ukeclectic Orchestra are some of artists involved in this concert.

This free concert is sponsored by the Hancock Arts Council.
