Ken Reed KC Bohrer Kim Johnson-Nickles Debbi Ditto and Pete Gordon Win

Ken Reed (1,682 votes — 49.04 percent) won the Republican primary for Morgan County Commission defeating Jimmy Stewart (1,321 votes — 38.51 percent) and Darren Barney (427 votes — 12.45 percent).

KC Bohrer (1,402 votes — 38.22 percent ) won the Republican primary for Sheriff over Ronnie Stotler (1,182 votes — 32.22 percent) and Wade Shambaugh (1,084 votes — 29.55 percent).

Kim Johnson-Nickles (1,789 votes — 51.26 percent) squeaked by Kate Stotler (1,701 votes, 48.74 percent). for County Clerk.

For Morgan County School Board, Pete Gordon (2,470 votes — 40.29 percent) defeated Beth Michael (1,956 votes — 31.91 percent).

And for Magistrate, Debbi Ditto (2,174 votes — 50.48 percent) ousted incumbent Greg Miller (2,128 votes — 49.41 percent).

On the Democratic ballot for President, Bernie Sanders (682 votes — 55.09 percent) defeated Hillary Clinton (486 votes — 39.26 percent).

Turnout was 40.89 percent — 70 percent for Republicans and 43.45 percent for Democrats.
